1000-lb. Sisters' Tammy Slaton Weighs 281 Pounds: 'Blowing the Mind'

In a clip from the show shared Wednesday, November 13, on Instagram, Tammy, 38, revealed the last time she stepped on the scale she weighed 303 pounds. Three months later, he dropped a jaw-dropping 281.2 pounds.
“I will be condemned. Congratulations, that's great!” Tammy's brother, Chris, said in the video.
Tammy was equally happy with this success. “Chris said his weight is 284 [pounds]. Now I weigh less than Chris. That's amazing,” he said in the confessional. “I think last time I weighed 281 [pounds]I was in the fourth or fifth grade. I am her sister, but I am not her 'big' sister anymore.”

Tammy was surprised by this number, asking her brother, “How much lighter am I than you?” He replied, “You must be lighter than me,” showing that he had more muscles. Tammy joked, “'Cause I'm short?”
Chris, 44, was in awe of Tammy's latest incident, telling the cameras, “Tammy's success makes me happy.”
He then admitted, “Did I ever think that I would ever see the day when he was younger than me? Well, no, probably not, because I never thought he was younger than me. She's always been Tammy, the big one.”

Tammy has been on a years-long weight loss journey, documented on the TLC series as of 2020.
“At my peak, I weighed 725 pounds,” he said during the Oct. 15 episode.
Tammy was able to lose 115 pounds after entering an Ohio rehab facility in February 2022. Her health journey continued in September of that year when she underwent gastric bypass surgery.
Tammy revealed in August that she has lost 500 pounds since 2022. “The last time I saw Dr. 1000-lb. Sister. “He told me I had to lose 100 pounds before my next appointment. I was very shocked.”
After stepping on the scale, Tammy found that she had dropped to 303.8 pounds. Tammy continued to focus on her health, losing 20 more pounds between tours.
Tammy, however, never lost enough weight to get the skin removal surgery she wanted. “She's over a year old,” her doctor said in a clip posted to TLC's Instagram on Thursday, November 14.
