14 injured in Israel after projectile from Yemen hits Tel Aviv: officials
A projectile launched into Israel from Yemen on Saturday night struck Tel Aviv, causing minor injuries to 14 people, according to Israeli officials.
The Israeli military said after sirens sounded in central Israel that a bomb landed in the Tel Aviv area south of Jaffa following the failure of containment efforts.
“Following the sirens that were sounded a short time ago in the center of Israel, one projectile launched in Yemen was identified and an attempt was made to stop it,” the military said in Telegram.

Iran-backed Houthi rebels have launched repeated attacks on Israel from Yemen since the war in Gaza began in October last year, but this night's incident represents a rare incident where Israel has failed to stop it.
Israel retaliated by hitting several targets in areas in Yemen controlled by the Houthis.

“Not long ago, reports were received about a weapon that fell into one of the residential areas in the Tel Aviv district,” Israeli police said on Saturday.
On Thursday, the Israeli military said it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, with explosives that caused extensive damage to a school near Tel Aviv.
