But Owls coach John McCormack is not accepting the praise.

The Owls went 28-29, failing to qualify for the NCAA regionals for the fifth year in a row.
FAU, considered one of the nation's best mid-major programs, has earned 14 regional bids since 1985. Even better, it made five regionals from 2013 to 2019, all since McCormack took over as head coach in 2009.
