2025 South Florida Fair offering fun, food, rides and a look into the future

What does the future hold? No need to guess. Go to the South Florida Fairgrounds anytime from Jan. 17 to Feb. 2 to investigate the possibilities as presented by the 2025 South Florida Fair under this year's theme, “Imagine the Future.”

The core of this theme is a collection of 15 “Science Fiction, Science Future” exhibits housed in the Expo East building. Designed by Scitech from Perth, Australia and produced by Imagine, the exhibits will allow visitors to move objects with their minds, transform invisible, be imitated by life-like robots, see augmented reality in action and more. (Also, relax. There will be no cutouts, replicants or face-hugging aliens this time around.)

New acts, old favorites coming to South Florida Fair 2025

Other new features will also be introduced, including the Flying Royals trapeze troupe, the Foods of the Future tour, two nights of Electronic Dance Music and more.

Exciting features returning this year include brainteaser Brad Matchett, a Tribute Band Competition, a drumming contest (including Palm Beach Post food writer Diana Biederman as a judge) and Cowboy and Cowgirl Circus acts.

If you have a need for speed or a thrill fix, this year's entertainment will be able to scratch that with more than 200 rides, games and attractions. Among the new rides: Super Himalaya, Kraken and Candyland Adventure Fun House.

Live bands, award-winning agriculture, and, of course, great food at the 2025 South Florida Fair in West Palm Beach.

The Super Himalaya, a new ride at this year's South Florida Fair, will offer rides to passengers.

There will also be award-winning agriculture and livestock programs with more than 2,000 exhibits presented by nearly 500 exhibitors from 30 Florida counties; the historic town of Yesterday; daily shows; skating shows “Sci-Fi on Ice”; and four stages of entertainment featuring live bands including The Beatle Maniacs, Red Not Chili Peppers, Spred the Dub, N2Nation, Yaupon Holly, Joe Reid and Heartland and more.

After you've considered the crazy tour of sights, sounds and imagination, take your taste from Mr. Toad's Wild Ride through one fun after another as dozens of dealers try to get through some crazy, but fun combinations.
