Earlier on Monday, 50 Cent took to social media and appeared to address the controversy with a post on his X account about the Super Bowl.
The rapper shared a famous meme of himself sitting in a car and driving.
“Okay, I don't know what's going on, but we're still going to have a Super Bowl. 😟,” he said briefly. “I'm just asking for a friend.”

“My wife and I will have to sit down with our children, one of whom is at an age where his friends will see the media and ask questions about the nature of these allegations, and explain the cruelty and greed of people,” Jay- Z's statement was read. “I mourn another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure that at a young age. It is wrong to try to understand the unspeakable levels of cruelty aimed at destroying families and the human spirit.”
The statement also spoke to Jay-Z's “strong code of honor”, saying he is trying to protect all children.
