Married At First Sight: Allen Gets Frustrated With Madison Yet Again – Recap [S18E08]

Married Early: Allen Slovick Comes Short

Opened Married at First, Allen Slovick is a good sport. She's been hitting the gym on the reg after Madison Myers suggested she take better care of her bod. Madison even takes him to a tough climbing class that looks like torture especially for someone new to the gym. Allen credits her for inspiring him to get healthy. Madison later takes her out of the apartment to have a “spa day”. But actually, you throw him a surprise birthday party.

The party goes well, and Allen Slovick is touched and surprised. He chats a little with his friends. And he suggests that he wishes Madison would slow down sometimes and chill on a Netflix date and chill. As he is very regimented and always on the go. Madison Myers plans the morning of the flag ball that follows Allen's birthday party. Allen Slovick plays a few birthday shots and gets the game out. Madison Myers admits to others that she worries about it. So it's all to no avail for Allen this episode of Married At First Sight.

Married at First Sight: Michelle and David Are Not on the Same Page

It wasn't easy with Michelle Tomblin and David Trimble on MAFS. Michelle quickly hung up the phone when she revealed that she was still living at home. A visit with a specialist helped a little. But. things went downhill again after seeing her boyfriend digging in the basement. They do not share a bedroom. And even though David leaves notes and texts about his whereabouts, Michelle is still unwilling to spend time with him. He seems upset though when he admits that he used to work out with Madison at the residential gym.

House party time is on Married at First. Michelle takes out her frustration on David's friend about her living situation. Her friend retorts that Michelle is actually wasting money on rent while David is saving money. Later David prepares dinner for Michelle. He is polite enough, even to kiss the chef. But after complimenting her clothes, he suggests that she could do better in that department. Especially by taking off her jean shorts and tank tops.

MAFS House Groups Reveal Cracks in Foundations

Chicago actors try out different themes for their house parties. Juan Franco and Karla Juarez chose a toga. But only after Juan cleaned the bathroom and Karla smartened up the place. The party is fun enough despite the poorly constructed togas and fake leaves. Later, Karla warns Juan in bed to be open to a little hug. Juan seems a little nervous and admits that he's not in the mood to give up just yet.

Opened Married at First, Emem Obot and Ikechi Ojore chose a Mexican theme for their party. Emem ordered the fish tacos. This doesn't go down well with Ikechi, who suggests that he may have whipped up the tacos himself. They argued a little. But welcome their guests with tequila. When asked to describe Emem, Ikechi lists something good but ends the list violently. This does not go down well with his friend or cousin. When they call him, he reveals that no one is going to impress them.

MAFS couple Camille Parsons and Thomas McDonald went off campus to a pool party at her brother's house. The topic comes up again about Thomas not being Camille's usual type. Camille seems to hold on to this and suggests that their different backgrounds may not be a match. Thomas later asks her to clarify as she doesn't think it's a big deal. Camille speaks in circles but doesn't really explain it. Until next week!
