The 2024 season at Boston College was one of profit and new beginnings. Several key pieces of the 2023 team that advanced to the Tuscaloosa Regional finals graduated or moved on to pro baseball, with head coach Mike Gambino leaving to take the job at Penn State that season.
That left plenty of roles to be filled on the field and in the coaches' offices, with the latest transition led by Todd Interdonato, who arrived from Wofford. That change contributed to the Eagles finishing last season with a 22-31 record and an 8-22 mark.[…]
