The ATP's Baseline program distributes $1.3 million to players by 2024, guaranteeing a minimum salary for the top 250 players for the first time in tennis history.

The ATP confirmed that a total of $1.3 million was allocated to 26 players in the first year of Baseline. Established in 2024 for a three-year trial, the measure guaranteed minimum earnings for the Top 250 players for the first time in tennis history.

A total of $1.3 million has been allocated to eligible players under the three pillars of the Baseline: Minimum Guarantee, Income Protection and New Investment.

Baseline introduced minimum guaranteed income levels for the top 250 singles players, providing a net financial security regardless of on-court performance. By 2024, there are a total of 17 beneficiaries A little guaranteeand ATP steps in to cover the deficit when income falls below the minimum.

The ATP will increase the guaranteed thresholds in 2025: to $200,000 (from $150,000) for singles players ranked 101-175, and $100,000 (from $75,000) for players ranked 176-250. The Top 100 limit will remain at $300,000. The new threshold means that all players who finished 2024 in the Top 250 will earn a minimum of $100,000 in 2025, as long as they play at least 15 events.

By 2024, the Income Protection the pillar has supported a total of three players who overcome injury obstacles, financially supporting their recovery and return to the Tour.
