The Ravens waived Pro Bowl receiver Dionntae Johnson after a drama-filled offseason
The tumultuous marriage between the Baltimore Ravens and Diontae Johnson is over.
The Ravens acquired Johnson in October in hopes of rounding out their already stout offense.
Johnson did nothing, and was waived by the team on Friday.
The trade was a disaster from the start. In his first game with the team, Johnson had just one catch for six yards. That was his only catch with the team.

The Ravens suspended Johnson earlier this month, saying he refused to play with the Philadelphia Eagles. Earlier this week, the Ravens excused him from practice.
Of course, Johnson had to be free to be traded by the lowly Carolina Panthers to a legitimate Super Bowl contender. Now, he appears to be on the hunt for his third team in as many months.
'DANGER!' CONTESTENTS MEET IN THE FINAL DRY JETTING COMPETITION
Johnson played in only four games for the Ravens.
The Ravens will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, so it is rumored that the Ravens offered him about 24 hours before the AFC North rivalry game that could decide the playoff.
Baltimore didn't lose much in the first trade, giving up a fifth-round pick.
Johnson's role in the Todd Monken case was questioned before the loss to the Eagles and after he sat out the game when Rashod Bateman went down with a knee injury.
