The Worst Teens and the Restless News – Phyllis, Chelsea, Kyle and Other Y&R Flops!

The Young and the Restless let fans down on a lot of missing issues. There are five worst Y&R shows to consider from Phyllis Summers' (Michelle Stafford) longing to Chelsea Lawson's (Melissa Claire Egan) swirling and Kyle Abbott's (Michael Mealor) pouting. Many plots have left viewers disappointed and we certainly hope that it will be better in 2025.

New and Most Unsettling Storylines of 2024

Our bad plot #5 for The Young and the Restless of 2024 was a combination of three plots. Fans are wondering why there are so many mental health issues at the same time. Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) all had mental issues. The simultaneous unfolding of these three stories was a misstep, as it diluted the impact.

Another Y&R episode that made our worst list is the quick redemption of Claire Newman (Hayley Erin). His transformation in The Young and the Restless from villain to saint was too quick to be legit.

Y&R's Worst Sites of the Past Year

Young and Restless fans really pissed off Phyllis Summers fans. Her antics chasing Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) ranked as our #3 worst Y&R episode of the past year. Many fans found it hard to stomach.

Y&R also saw Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) full of annoying popo brattiness. Ranked as our 4th worst plot on The Young and the Restless. He betrayed the family and did not get the redemption he was given. Despite his disturbing behavior, he was awarded the position of CEO. That did not go down well with the audience.
