Married At First: Emem Obot Is Not In The Spirit Of Clowns

As i Married at First couples celebrating their one month anniversary, Emem Obot he finds himself facing a comedian. He is hard at work presenting a charcuterie board/picnic in the park. And some watercolor painting since Ikechi wanted to see his “art”. He shows laziness and monotone even in the face of his obvious effort. He chokes on cheese and smokes salmon. And she continues to move with watercolor while teaching Emem in hers.

Emem Obot is patient and just wants him to take responsibility and put effort into the relationship. But he just won't get involved. Back at the apartment the experts left gifts. A copy of their wedding vows, some champagne and photos. Ikechi won't even sit next to him on the couch to watch the album Married at First. Emem Obot wants to know how he feels about the vows now. He gets rude and defensive and makes some analogy with a bear and a walking stick. Then point blank call him a hole.

Yes, Emem Obot is upset. And Ikechi Ojore takes his backpack and leaves. He texts her every day for the next few days and gets no response. So, she dresses alone to meet the other couples for an anniversary dinner. Surprisingly, Ikechi appears in what he aptly calls a comedy suit. Allen Slovick and others want to know why he despises Emem. Then he comes out and says “bring me a big laugh, there will be a circus” and another MAFS the ladies follow him in support.

Married First: Michelle Tomblin Not Impressed

As the couples roam around in the middle of nowhere, others can't ride with them MAFS the same. It's been no secret all season that Michelle Tomblin doesn't get along with David Trimble. From finding out he's living in his parent's basement to occasionally smoking a cigarette, his vibe around him is colder than any Chicago chill. David plans dinner at a sushi hot spot with rainbow-colored drinks that dispense dry ice.

But Michelle Tomblin is not satisfied Married at First. Because David shows up in a quarter-zip and tennis shoes. She scolds him like a disappointed mother. And he runs about the traffic and that he's open to raw fish and foggy drinks. But again, he can't move forward. So, looking back at the wedding video and all its promises leads to telling David Trimble again that hope has dwindled faster than dry ice in his lavender gin and tonic.

MAFS Couples Celebrate One Month Together

One thing Married at First the couple who developed in these 4 long weeks are Camille Parsons and Thomas McDonald. Things get off to a bad start on the anniversary. The two will meet one on one in basketball. But Thomas is late and Camille orders exercise as punishment. Later when she tastes the bourbon, he gives her the necklace. And he admits that he had to walk a bit to get the jewelry and that's why he was late. So he forgives her.

Karla Juarez is truly a free spirit. While Juan Franco was an orderly man. So it doesn't go well when she bluntly says she quit her job at the salon. Juan's face says it all. And his answer to the production is ok crazy but not stupid. At the picnic, Karla reveals that she might have a chance to do her hair for a photoshoot. But the details are not clear. Therefore, he will focus on learning to read tarot cards while relaxing in his sound bowl for now.

Despite Allen Slovick's praise of Madison Myers in Married at First, he still only approves of a kiss on the cheek after winning a bet with his love. Later, he is tricked by his father's jokes while they are doing tree climbing. And he shuts down his vision of family and himself forever by suggesting “long time forever”. Wow. Until next time!
