Jimmy Kimmel gets emotional over LA fire, blasts 'disgusting' Trump for response
ABC's late night host Jimmy Kimmel gave a rousing speech about the Los Angeles fires on Monday, while also criticizing President-elect Donald Trump for giving a “disgusting” response to the tragedy.

Kimmel then took the opportunity to outline Trump's response to the fire, saying, “I don't want to get into all the bad and irresponsible and stupid things that our alleged future president and his gang of scumbags chose to say during our darkest and most terrifying hour.”
“The fact that they chose to attack our firefighters, who are obviously White enough to be there risking their lives for us, is disgusting but not surprising. Instead, I want to focus on thanking those men and women,” Kimmel said.
The late-night event went on to praise the firefighters working to put out the fire, saying, “Our LA firefighters were the first on the scene, without a doubt. They were out there putting out the fire as best they could.” He then thanked other firefighters and paramedics from around the country and around the world for their contributions.
