Chrishell Stause Says She Was 'Shocked' by LA Wildfires
Sunset's sale Chrisshell Stause opens up about how he “panicked” during the wildfires in LA.
The reality star, 43, shared the moment of her appearance on Wednesday, January 15 Sherri that the fires and subsequent evacuation process brought back long-hidden memories of watching his home burn as a child.
“When we needed to go out, there was a fire like a fire in our yard. It was like, 'You have to go,'” she explained during the episode. “I think I've had a panic attack. I forgot, when I was 12 years old, I saw my house on fire.”
Stause added that the incident was “unthinkable.” It happened a long time ago.”
However, it led him to “hang out” when it was time to go out. Stause praised his wife, an Australian singer G Answer (real name Georgia Claire Flipo) for managing during the exit while the reality TV star struggled due to her previous experience with fires.
“You don't know how you will react. “I think I'd like to think I'm good in an emergency,” Stause continued. “But this showed me, I needed a little kick, and G was there to keep me focused so it was nice to have them.”
Stause also praised G Flip in an Instagram story last week as he reflected on his traumatic childhood experiences.
“A little bit of PTSD from what I completely forgot about until last night as I stood there in shock,” she said. “Luckily I had an amazing partner who pulled me out of it and helped me focus.”
While Stause was evacuated, he was lucky not to lose his home in the wildfires that are ravaging parts of Los Angeles including the exclusive Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Santa Monica and Hollywood Hills. Stause is one of the many celebrities caught up in the natural disaster. Stars like Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Paris Hilton again Miles Teller they are among those whose homes caught fire and turned into rubble.
Stause started seeing G Flip after his breakup Jason Oppenheim in late 2021. Stause and G Flip went on to tie the knot in May 2023.
Stause talked about his relationship with G Flip in an interview with Vogue in June 2022, he told the outlet, “just being around G [is] such an uplifting experience; if you've ever had the pleasure of sharing a room with them, you'd quickly see what I mean. I love hearing that endless support of just wanting someone else to be who they are. “
