Getty Images (3)Wildfires continue to rip through the Los Angeles area, destroying thousands of acres and forcing more people to flee their homes. As relief efforts have just begun, some of Hollywood's biggest stars are coming together to help those in need.
The Eaton and Pacific Palisades fires, burning at the same time, are already two of the top five most destructive fires in California history according to CNN. About 24 people have died, and this number is expected to increase as firefighters continue to search for debris.
The Pacific Palisades fire affected many celebrities, destroyed homes in wealthy neighborhoods and forced many to evacuate. Paris Hilton, Anna Faris, Billy Crystal again Mel Gibson they are among the stars whose houses are burnt.
But many — even those who have been evicted or lost everything — are stepping up to help their fellow Angelenos. Celebrities from movies, sports, music and more have stood up and donated their time, money and belongings.

Beyonce
Beyonce's BeyGood foundation has donated $2.5 million to the newly established LA Fire Relief Fund.
“Los Angeles we stand with you. 🫶🏽” the bag wrote on Instagram. “This fund is intended to help families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who have lost their homes, as well as churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires.”

The next day the emotional look at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonwhen he said “everything” in his community was destroyed, the Halloween actor donated $1 million to wildfire relief.
“My husband and I and our children have pledged $1 million to our Family Foundation to start a fund to support our great city and province and the great people who live and love it,” she wrote on Instagram. (Curtis shares daughters Annie, 34, and Ruby, 25, with her husband, Christopher Guest.)

Longoria donated $50,000 to This Is About Humanity, which benefits families and workers affected by the fires. He also pledged to donate $1 million through his foundation to the Latino Community Fund and the California Community Foundation.
Josh Gadi
Gad, who issued his memorial, In the Garden We Hope: Tell Otherson Tuesday, January 14, he announced that he would donate a portion of the proceeds from his book to many organizations benefiting from the wildfires.
He adds visually to The Today Show that day he knew of at least 15 families who lost their homes.
“I would encourage you all, if you have a chance, to go on my Instagram: I've posted links to where you can donate, even $10, whatever helps right now,” Gad added. “There are many people, animals [and] children affected by this disaster.”
Paris Hilton
Hilton launched a $100,000 emergency fund for bushfire victims, while pledging to match another $100,000 in donations. He announced Tuesday that he has raised $800,000 so far and pledged another $150,000 to the GoFundMe Wildfire Relief Fund.

Jenner announced that she is making an undisclosed donation to the California Fire Foundation Wildfire & Disaster Relief Fund.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made an undisclosed financial donation through their Archewell Foundation and volunteered their time and staff at World Central Kitchen, distributing food to those affected in the area.

Hewitt has partnered with two non-profit organizations, BFFs and Babes and Baby2Baby, to sell her Love Angeles clothing. All proceeds will go to Baby2Baby, which helps provide supplies, including diapers, food, formula and water, to children affected by the fires.

The rock band has pledged $2.5 million to FireAid, a benefit concert coming to the Intuit Dome on January 30. Proceeds from the concert will go to an organization created to help rebuild Los Angeles' infrastructure. An estimated 12,300 buildings were damaged or destroyed as of Wednesday, January 15, according to CNN.
Freedie Freeman
Freeman and his wife Chelsea they donated $100,000 each to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, the Pasadena Fire Department and the Salvation Army. Chelsea also announced it will match donations to Pasadena Humane, which cares for pets affected by the fire.
Metallica
Metallica's foundation, All Within My Hands, is donating $500,000 to support the California Community Foundation's Wildfire Recovery Fund and the Pasadena Community Foundation's Eaton Canyon Fire Relief and Recovery Fund.
“Numbers cannot explain the extent of the suffering as this disaster is upsetting families and destroying livelihoods,” the group said in a statement.
Leonardo DiCaprio
DiCaprio announced via Instagram that he would donate $1 million to “support emergency needs and fire recovery efforts.”
“The first aid will immediately benefit the LA Fire Department Foundation, California Fire Foundation, World Central Kitchen, California Community Foundation, Pasadena Humane Society, and the SoCal Fire Fund – organizations on the front lines providing much-needed resources to our first responders and firefighters, and people, animals and the communities that need it the most,” he added.
Jennifer Lopez
Marketing company The A List confirmed via Instagram Story that Lopez made a “kind donation” to support the LA Schools' Education Foundation and the Pasadena Education Foundation.

Pete Davidson
Comedian and sustainable sock brand Doublesoul has donated 10,000 pairs of socks to first responders and people affected by natural disasters.
“We've all seen the heartbreaking images coming out of Los Angeles,” Davidson, who serves as the brand's creative director, said in a press release. “As someone who admires the bravery and dedication of firefighters, this is a small way to show our gratitude to these leading heroes and to offer relief to those who have lost their lives.”
Gwyneth Paltrow
In a statement shared through Goop's InstagramPaltrow revealed that her brand is “committed to donating more than $2 million in products to charities” such as Baby2Baby, Altadena Girls and other local nonprofits.
“With the support of our Brentwood store team, we are distributing beauty care packages and skin products to Goop customers directly affected by the fire,” Paltrow continued. “Our chef Kim … quickly mobilized the Goop Kitchen to serve over 800 meals to first responders.”
Taylor Swift
Swift is dedicated to a A number of LA local organizations between wildfires.
“The California wildfires have destroyed so many families and it has been heartbreaking to see this news unfold,” Swift wrote on Instagram Stories on Thursday, January 16. “There is so much suffering, loss and destruction. As many people begin the most challenging times in their lives, there are also many amazing organizations and groups coming together to help these communities rebuild. “
He concluded, “If you feel compelled or able to donate, please donate.”
Swift has donated to 211 LA, California Community Foundation Fund, Direct Relief, Habitat for Humanity, Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, MusicCares and more.
Shohei Ohtani
The Dodgers star has donated $500,000 to several local charities.
“We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the firefighters who continued to fight for us during the LA fire,” he wrote in Japanese via Instagram. “We would like to donate $500,000 to these firefighters, evacuees and animals in need.”
He added, “The Los Angeles Dodgers also work with teams in other sports to provide sponsorships, such as t-shirt sales. We hope you will consider doing so. We sincerely hope that he will make a speedy recovery.”
