Sister Wives: Gabe Brown Seeks Verdict from Kody Brown
Sister Wives' son Gabe Brown beat his father Kody Brown by decision. We watched the family break up in Season 19. Kody lost contact with all of his grown children. They came out one by one. And now, Gabe is the latest to say he's ready to move away from his father forever.
Episodes of TLC's Sister Wives see Kody Brown's older children fed up with his neglect. Gabriel (Gabe) Brown, one of Janelle Brown's boys, is the one who just lost his patience. If you've watched recent seasons, you know that this epidemic was a deal for the entire Brown family.
Kody set strict rules that many in the family found difficult to tolerate, including Janelle and Christine Brown. And most of their children. And Kody even accused his two oldest sons of prioritizing “wetting their pencils” over safety during the COVID crisis.
Gabe Brown recently told Janelle about the conversation with Kody. He said Kody hit him so they could talk. But Gabe told Janelle that his dad acted like he owed Kody an apology. But she doesn't feel like she needs to tell her dad about anything.
On the Sister Wives episode, Gabe told Janelle that he made it clear to Kody that unless he was ready to make a real effort to fix things, he was done talking to her. Then, Gabe told Janelle that Kody sent a text a few days later saying I forgive you, will you forgive me.
And that upset Gabe. He didn't see what he had done that required Kody to forgive him. But on the other hand, Gabe thought that his father needed to ask for forgiveness for the things he had done. At this point, Gabe told his mother that he was ready to cut her out of her life completely. And he wouldn't be the first child to do this.
Sister Wives Gabe Brown Gives Kody Brown Ultimatum to Fix Broken Relationship
Lack of accountability is a recurring theme in the Brown children. And Kody Brown's ex-wives. For example, Mykelti Brown Padron, recently criticized after seeing the latest episodes of Sister Wives. He said his father never takes responsibility for himself. And even when he does, he still blames others.
In his interviews with the confessors on the TLC show, we heard Kody say that he wishes he had never married Meri Brown. And that he never loved Meri, Janelle or Christine Brown. It's a bad thing that his children and his three ex-wives are the country, isn't it?
For his children, hearing that he should not have married their mother is like him saying that he regrets the incident that led to their existence. It's not the kind of thing that earns you a “father of the year” trophy. Kody also blamed the distance between him and his grown children on Christine and Janelle. He accused them of speaking ill of him.
Janelle Brown said that his misbehavior with their children was the reason why she finally left Kody. Also, she said she thinks Kody used the pandemic as an excuse to withdraw from the family. That way, he said, he could live with Robyn Brown, his beloved wife, and their children.
Janelle is not sure yet that Kody can mend the broken relationship with his children. Gabe said it will take an act of God.

Also, Gabe Brown said he misses seeing Kody and Robyn's kids. But he has little hope for a relationship with Robyn. Gabe says Robyn is playing the victim. And she says that everyone always hates her and her children.
Considering the family lost Garrison Brown, you'd think Kody would do whatever he can to mend the rift with his remaining children. But we see no evidence that it is happening in real time. Even Robyn pleaded with Kody to put his children first before his feelings.
