Irrational's Maahra Hill Teases Marisa's 'Miracle' Season 2 Arc

NBC They don't make sense builds momentum in season 2 – starting with Marisa's unexpected upcoming adventure.

During a special interview with Us Weekly, Mahra Hill teased what viewers can expect from the second half of the season.

“The bigger, the better. Just a really fun season overall. There is a lot going on and there are many episodes that need to be processed,” he said Us. “The characters still have these emotional situations that happen – even though there's not a trial that goes on throughout the season – there's a love story that goes on during the season. There's a relationship that changes a little bit over the course of the season.”

Hill noted the freedom that comes with the expanded episode order, though Marisa won't be able to avoid her feelings for long.

“I saw him as a guard. It can be a political track. I don't think he ever wants to be behind a desk, that's why he answered that [job] down,” explained Hill. “”Regarding the career trajectory, I would like to see him go out in ways – something that will remain true to his work in the community.”

Hill continued: “Personally, I want to continue to see him grow and learn more about himself. If another person comes into his life, so be it. That's good. But I love the journey to find out who he is and discover his true nature outside of a relationship. Then if that brings one in, that's amazing.”

“What I love most is the impact it has on the audience. With any project I do, I want to know that it serves the audience in some meaningful way. That's how I felt after reading the text. With this, I was like, 'Oh my God, you can change the world.' I was overreacting, I'm sure. But the best thing is, it will have an impact on many people because you will be curious,” he said Us. “Life takes away curiosity in strange ways. So Irrational, it can make you curious about yourself, others, your behavior and what motivates you. That's what it stands for – the impact the show can have.”
