Who was on Trump's big victory team?

A few hours after the polls closed, Donald Trump took the stage in Florida to announce victory, surrounded by a large group of family, allies, campaign advisers – and sports figures.

All five of his children were there, some of whom played an important role in his final administration, along with their four spouses, and two of his 10 grandchildren.

Also present were campaign advisers and political associates, prominent and behind-the-scenes contributors to Trump's 2016, 2020 and 2024 campaigns.

And among the surprise appearances were martial arts executive Dana White and golfer Bryson DeChambeau.

Here's what we know about the team that may provide some clues as to what we can expect from Trump's second administration.

The Trump family

Trump's family has supported him politically and professionally for years – working in his real estate business, meeting in his campaigns and even joining his previous administration from 2017 to 2021.

Beside him was his wife Melaniawho has been largely absent from the campaign for this election cycle.

Trump praised him for writing “the best-selling book in the country” – a reminder at that fights for a woman's right to have an abortiona position that is at odds with many in the Republican Party.

Trump was also joined by his young child, Barron Trump18, a first-year university student, and Melania's father Viktor KnavsSlovenian who became an American citizen in 2018.

Trump's third child, Eric Trumpwas joined by his wife Larawho is trump was elected co-chairman of the Republican Party and who spoke at the Republican National Convention (RNC) this year.

Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jrwho is a political adviser after Trump left the White House, was also there, joined by his fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle. She was previously married to current California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, and has given motivational speeches at the RNC.

Donald Trump Jr also brought two of his five children. His 17-year-old daughter Why he spoke openly for the first time during the RNC, describing Trump as “very caring and loving” and “a normal grandfather”.

Trump's second child Ivanka Trump appeared with her husband Jared Kushner. Both have held key roles under the Trump administration, with Kushner advising about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and relations with China, Mexico and Canada. The couple did not participate in this campaign.

Trump's fourth child, Tiffany Trumpwho was not yet present in her father's political work but urged the meeting this week to go out and vote, she stood with her husband, Michael Boulos.

The Vances

Vice president-elect JD VanceSenator from Ohio, hailed Trump's victory as “the greatest political comeback” in American history. Vance is also the author of the best-selling memoir Hillbilly Elegy, about his childhood in the white working-class Rust Belt.

“He was a good choice,” Trump said. “I took a little heat at first, but I knew the brain was good – the best.”

Vance celebrated with his wife New Vance. Born in California to Indian immigrants, she worked as a lawyer until her husband's campaign.

Campaign consultants and partners

Key members of Trump's campaign team and supporters, including former administration officials, celebrated their victory on stage.

The list included fellow campaign managers Susan Wiles again Chris LaCivitachairman of the RNC Michael Whatleyspeech writer Vince Haleycommunications strategist Jason Millerchief inspector Tony Fabrizio and senior advisor Dan Scavino.

The most famous one was the great counselor Stephen Miller, one of the architects of the 2017 travel ban that initially prevented it tribes of several Muslim-majority countries from the US.

There were also counselors Boris Epsteinand former director of the US Small Business Administration Linda McMahonwho is the current chairman of the board at the America First Policy Institute.

They stand alongside two elected officials: Representative New York Elise Stefanic and Louisiana Representative and Speaker of the House Mike Johnsonflanked by his wife Kelly Johnson.

Billionaire businessman Howard Lutnick he also emerged as the chairman of Trump's transition team.

UFC boss, Musk and golf star

Dana Whitemanager of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), took to the stage to declare that “no one deserves this” more than Trump and his family.

“I couldn't stop him, he keeps moving forward, he doesn't stop, he is the strongest, hardest working man I have ever met in my life,” he said. White also thanked “powerful and dynamic podcast host” Joe Rogan, who supported Trump.

Trump – a golf enthusiast faced with The apparent effort of his life on his golf course in Florida two months ago – later knocked the US Open champion off the stage Bryson DeChambeau.

The two played golf together in the summer of the golfer's YouTube channel.
