Brianna Chickenfry Made the 'Right Decision' About Zach Bryan
Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia she is glad that he talked about his relationship with her Zach Bryan.
“I knew I made the right decision,” LaPaglia, 25, shared in an Instagram story on Thursday, November 7, after explaining allegations of emotional abuse during her one-year relationship with Bryan in the latest episode of Barstool Sports' “BFFs” podcast.
“And I believe that not coming out and not telling everything was the right decision again,” LaPaglia continued in his message to fans. “You get the picture. Your messages made me cry. I can't believe how many women and men have been subjected to the same abuse.”
LaPaglia continued, “You too, I will always be your voice. If I can stand up to the person in charge, you can stand up to your butts. It's been two whole weeks so I'm still processing everything I've been through. I will continue to process and heal with you all!”
“Character > 12 Million,” the broadcaster concluded in his tweet, referring to the alleged non-disclosure agreement Bryan asked him to sign.
On Thursday's “BFFs” podcast, LaPaglia opened up to her co-stars Dave Portnoy again Josh Richards about her surprise breakup with Bryan last month. A netizen has accused the country singer of emotionally abusing her during their relationship.
“It's not just for me, it's for someone else who's emotionally abused, it's for anyone who's emotionally abused right now,” LaPaglia said in the episode. “For people who don't have a support system like I was lucky enough to have [while] we're getting through this.”
“The last year of my life has been the most difficult year of my life, I faced abuse from this boy,” he added. “I'm still scared, my mind has been rewired. I'm afraid to mix him up. Last week I didn't want to talk about it because I was scared.”
LaPaglia also said he refused to sign an NDA that Bryan, 28, offered him in exchange for it.
“I still f— your money. He made women before me believe that they had no other choice,” she continued. “And taking money from you, sign those who've been through it, sign those who've been through it, you're going to get over it and sing your f-ing little songs on stage like you're a good person.” (Us Weekly (contacted Bryan's representatives for comment on LaPaglia's claims on Thursday.)
Bryan announced his split from LaPaglia via an Instagram Story statement on October 22. At the time, LaPaglia said he was “blindsided” by the split.
“Something to talk about: Brianna and I have separated [sic] and I respect and love him with all my heart,” Bryan wrote. “He has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I will always be grateful.”
He continued: “I've had a very difficult year personally and I've struggled through very difficult things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our separate ways. I am not perfect and I will never be perfect.”
