Hugh Grant gave a rare glimpse into her marriage Anna Eberstein over the years.
Before meeting Eberstein, she adopted two children with an ex Tinglan Hong. Throughout his early life, Grant was outspoken about his lack of interest in marriage – but was open to the idea if the right person came along.
“I see a positive aspect when you marry the right person – your best friend and it's cozy and lovely,” he told Howard Stern in 2016. But people make a lot of mistakes.”
Two years later, Grant went on to tie the knot with Eberstein after they welcomed three children together.
“I still think it's bullshit, actually, and so does my wife, by the way,” the actor said Reuters in 2018 answering a question about marriage shortly after their marriage. “But it seemed like a nice, comfortable thing to do.”
