Bronwyn Newport of RHOSLC 'Mortified' Bravo Aired Dog Poop in her house
Bronwyn Newport she's a self-proclaimed dog lover, but she wasn't a fan of seeing dog poop all over her house The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
“I didn't know until I saw the episode,” Bronwyn, 39, said to herself Us Weekly Monday, November 18, while discussing her fake house from season 5 of the Bravo reality television show.
A new housewife has revealed that she was “horrified” when she realized that cameras had captured dog poo in several rooms of her house while she was showing. Heather Gay in the middle of season 5, episode 8.
“My daughter is like a whispering dog in our house, and she came to me when she saw this episode and said, 'I'm ashamed. Our house is very clean. How could this be the way it looks?'” Bronwyn recalls. “And I was like, 'Well, I guess that's what it was that day.'
During the episode, Heather, 50, repeatedly dug into Bronwyn's house, which is still unfinished, and the animal remains she saw inside.
“I've never been to Heather's, so I can't recommend it or not,” quipped Bronwyn, admitting that Heather's negative words were “right” at the time. “I was out of control, I was busy that day. I had a new puppy. It was snowing again [was] totally for me,” he added. “If the photographers were holding sewage in my house, I would have shown it [it] if I was producing.”
The women butted heads again in the episode after Bronwyn tried to get Heather to apologize for treating her badly in the past. When Heather doesn't take responsibility for her alleged actions, Bronwyn chooses not to invite her on the group trip to Palm Springs.
“I understand that Heather and I were not friends. We were not in a good place. “We had the worst conversation that day,” said Bronwyn Us of Heather's misunderstanding about her unusual home decor.
He admitted, “I probably didn't care about anything I would have if I were Heather, and I gave her a good reason. There was dog poop on my floor. My family was being treated.”
Bronwyn remembers Heather seeing all the stains on the house when she visited the house. “He never missed an opportunity to lick,” he said.
Bronwyn and Heather remain at loggerheads after the poop incident and Heather's exclusion from the Palm Springs trip. Well, Bronwyn told Us that there is more to their story that fans will see play out throughout the season.
“I think Heather is really smart. I would like to be friends with Heather. I'm also happy to be dating Heather because I like arguing with Heather,” said Bronwyn. Whitney Rose saying “Heather met her friend” as a “compliment.”
Bronwyn described Heather as “really quick,” and “really smart,” which she believes makes their dynamic interesting. “She is a strong competitor, so I appreciate that the other ladies see me as a strong competitor,” she added.
Looking forward, Bronwyn teased, “Heather and I understand that.” He shares that in the future RHOSLC episodes, “You will see that we have a decision coming up. There is good and bad.”
The fashionista added, “I think Heather and I are very similar, and if we get on a good page, I think we'll stay on a good page. And I think we are close to that. So I have hope.”
Bronwyn hopes Bravo will give her a second chance to show off her house – sans dog poop and, instead, full of unique decorations.
“I wish Bravo would bring me back for another season because I feel like people need to see that I'm not living in this graveyard for nothing,” he joked. “Finally my home is finished.”
Bronwyn said she and her husband Todd Bradley now it has furniture and art on the walls. “It's not like, 'Hello, hello, hello' in this empty house,” he said, making an echoing sound.
