Chu also tried to keep up with Galinda/Glinda's voice “It's nice to see me, isn't it? There is no need to answer. That is speaking.” However, the joke was not the same when Grande said it on camera without a live audience.

“The joke didn't last. “Not because of the way he was doing it, but because there are no listeners to give an answer,” explained Chu. “We included Ozian's negative reaction, but it was meta, it was too early. It was very scary to cut that because, like a line in the Bible.”
