RHOA's Cynthia Bailey Is 'Very In Love' With Younger Boyfriend
Love is in the air The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey.
“I love it so much,” Bailey, 57, said to himself Us Weekly on the Bravo Fan Fest red carpet on Saturday, November 23, at Ice Palace Studios in Miami, Florida. “You know, dating is not really easy, especially at this time of my life.”
He continued, “I'm, you know, a little way up there, [a] a woman of a certain age, but I will say that I just said to God, send my man. I didn't give him a list or anything, and Amsterdam showed up, and it's been almost eight years now, and I'm really happy. “
During a panel later in the night, Bailey gushed over her new beau and revealed that she's on the petite side. “I'm in love with a wonderful young man, from Amsterdam,” she said. “I didn't want a little boy. You found me.”
Bailey also confirmed that she met her boyfriend “about eight months ago” and “it's going really well,” saying, “I'm having fun.”
Talking to UsCynthia then told the story of how she first met a young man, whose name she did not reveal publicly. “Well, we first met at an event in LA and we didn't talk, but he got into my DMs a few days later, and it worked out.”
Bailey went on to say that the couple is “not really on social media or anything,” though RHOA fans may be able to catch him a bit on the show.
“You can see glimpses of him,” he shared Us. “Right now, we're dealing with FaceTime a lot. And every time we FaceTime, the cameras will be zooming in, so you can get a closer look. “
He added with a laugh, “He doesn't even watch the show.” He doesn't know what's going on.”
Cynthia is about to return RHOA season 16 as a “friend,” after previously being a full-time wife from seasons 3 to 13 and appearing as a guest in season 15. She told Us he is not ready to return as a full cast member yet.
“It's not right now. I won't say it but I will say it now,” she said. “Of course my focus is my acting career. I was a housewife for more than ten years. I'm still happy to focus on other things right now, like my acting.”
He commented Us that “acting is my priority right now,” but returning as an official housemate for season 16 “was a great way for me to live my best life and stay connected to the Atlanta Housewives.” Cynthia also recently started a podcast called “Humble Brag” about it Crystal Minkoff.
“I feel like I'm in a really good place right now,” she said. “I still continue to record the ladies. I get to go on a trip. I actually filmed a little bit with them, so you'll see a lot of me in season 16. I have a whole other life and I don't have to participate as a non-housewife if I don't want to. .”
He concluded by saying, “I'm so glad I came back, because I had an amazing time. Season 16 is going to be amazing. You guys will be happy.”
