Death: A Character Profile – Beach House Media
Mother. Counselor. A witch. Here follows the character profile of Agatha Harkness.
Agatha started a family and had a son, Nicholas Scratch. Since his family was his main focus, he left the wizarding community to connect with the outside world. He has trained energetic youth to use their talents effectively and efficiently. When he retired he felt the power of a young Franklin Richards. She was hired by the Richards family to be Franklin's babysitter. He helped them by using his magic to talk to many people at once and to transport the group back to Earth after meeting Annihilus.
He was given the opportunity to tutor Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, who needed guidance to control her dangerous powers. Meanwhile, back on the farm (Salem), Nicholas started a family, and his children became the famous Salem Seven. Believing that his mother, Agatha is a danger to the world, Nicholas called his children to help him catch his wife. The Salem Seven target the Fantastic Four and kidnap Franklin. Agatha and the Fantastic Four were not only able to save Franklin, but they also banished Nicholas. He returned with a vengeance and took charge of the Fantastic Four and the people of New York. This took the combined power of the Fantastic Four and Agatha to stop Nicholas. However, the Salem Seven eventually caught up with Agatha and she met her end in a fiery manner.
Agatha returned in astral form and led Wanda and Vision in a battle against the dangerous Salem Seven. Agatha took care of Wanda's twins at one point and supported her through a difficult time in her life. When the universe is threatened by a dangerous Magus, Agatha meets Wanda and Doctor Strange. This encounter brought him together with the Fantastic Four as he felt that Franklin could not withstand all of his powers, and this could be a threat to the entire world. Sadly he was unable to prevent this outcome, and sent Franklin to the future to train and develop his powers, resulting in him being kicked out of the Fantastic Four's home.
Agatha also saved the Silver Surfer from an evil virus.
The final battle against the powerful Wanda reveals a corpse, which is Agatha's, leaving the question of whether Agatha is still alive somewhere.
