Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes Share Sweet Thanksgiving Smooch
Kelsea Ballerini shared sweet snapshots of her Thanksgiving holiday celebration.
The country star posted a carousel of photos on Instagram, with the caption, “turkey: 5/10 thanksgiving karaoke: 1000/10 I'm so thankful, especially for the love we get and give. 🤍”
The social media site also included a photo of her with her boyfriend, an actor Chase Stokescozying up to a Christmas tree, and one of her hugging Ballerini from behind as she carries a tray of carved turkey.
Looking at some photos, it looks like Ballerini has prepared this year's turkey dinner, according to several photos of the singer cooking the traditional Thanksgiving meal.
Ballerini enters the holiday season after a very successful year, which includes the release of her new self-titled album Patterns and a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in New York City on October 29.
The “Cowboys Cry Too” singer is linked to Foreign Banks star since 2023. Recently, the duo left Country Music Association Awards red carpet hand-in-hand. The couple got together before Stokes finally left Ballerini, giving his girlfriend her moment in the spotlight.
For the event, Ballerini wore a floor-length dress by Dolce & Gabbana, decorated with silver sequins. Stokes wore a chic black suit and Kemo Sabe boots.
In addition to their red carpet and holiday PDA, the couple has been known to openly love each other in interviews. For example, Stokes was not shy about his appreciation of Ballerini in his appearance on October 3 Today Show.
“I honestly think when you find someone who is not only someone you love and admire, but also your best friend, you get the best of both worlds,” he said at the time. “And he's not just a great person, but everything you see – whether it's on social media or on stage – is exactly who he is when he's not doing those things.
Ballerini also spoke to NBC Willie Geist about Stokes' sweet reaction after hearing his previous album Welcome Mattwhere he opened up about his divorce from the country singer Morgan Evans.
“I think the good thing about having an artist – in a different field but an artist – is that it's like being an honest person,” he said. “When I got into this relationship, I wasn't dating Welcome Matt to him. I remember I sent him that EP and I just said, 'Oh, he's going to ask eventually. So, I will continue to give you this.' He held that record up and supported it and stood on the side of the stage the whole time. That takes someone who really celebrates telling the truth, and who believes in the person doing it.”
