Deion Sanders, his ex-wife were separated in the celebration of the day of the day of the sons Shedeur and Shiloh: 'Like WWIII'
Colorado star quarterback Shedeur Sanders wanted to celebrate with both of his parents on Friday.
He wanted this so much that he went looking for his mother, Pilar, and convinced her to participate in the event, although his father, head coach Deion Sanders, was present, according to a conversation between Shedeur and his brother Shilo in a video posted by Shilo Sanders' official YouTube channel.
“My brother [Shedeur] I just got my mom home for senior day, and we didn't know we had to go for a walk. I won't. That is like the Third World War trying to unite them and go together,” said Shilo.

Shedeur and Shilo walked Deion across the stage during their celebration, meeting their mother on the other side, according to the video. Deion patted his sons back as he approached Pilar, then quickly left.
Pilar then hugged his boys in the middle of the field as they celebrated and took pictures.
Colorado won its last home game 52-0 against Oklahoma State.

Deion and Pilar got married in 1999. At the time, she was a model, and an NFL star at the height of her fame as a player. Both gave birth to Shiloh, Shedewuri and a daughter Shelomi.
The couple filed for divorce in 2013. It was Sanders' second divorce. He separated from his first wife, Carolyn Chambers, in 1998, one year before marrying Pilar. Deion and Chambers had two children together – Deion Jr. and Deiondre.
In her 2013 divorce from Pilar, Sanders won initial custody of the couple's three children, while Pilar was granted visitation rights. However, later there were custody battles.
Before the divorce was finalized, Pilar alleged a prenuptial agreement between her and Deion was made in 2012. He wanted to get more money from the alimony and child support payments from the Pro Football Hall of Famer.
“Greed,” Deion said in court at the time. “You signed a contract. We had a prenuptial, and now you don't like the terms of it because you realize it's over, your lifestyle won't be the same. Greed.”
The judge who was in charge of the disagreement said that Pilar Sanders signed this agreement, he said that he did it voluntarily and he cannot bring a claim that it is invalid again before the court.
“It's David and Goliath,” said Pilar's attorney, Larry Friedman, according to NBC Dallas-Forth Worth. “We always play. We're young, and it's hard to win when you play by the rules.”

“I didn't marry hm for money, obviously,” Pilar told NBC Dallas-Forth Worth. “I've been married to him for 14 years. My intention was to be married forever, but, obviously, it wasn't his.”
Deion also filed a defamation suit against Pilar, saying she tarnished his name with allegations of domestic violence. Deion won that case, and the investigation found no evidence to support Pilar's claim.
Pilar later won custody of her two youngest children, Shedeur and Shelomi, in 2017. However, Deion has been a heavy presence in Shedeur's life throughout his college career as his head coach at both Jackson State and Colorado.
Deion said he converted to Christianity shortly after his first divorce. Sanders went public with his commitment to Christ during an interview on “Running Wild” with Bear Grylls in November 2023.
“That's when I first went through a divorce where I knew what I really loved were my two children. Now they're gone, now they're taken. It was very painful, and I had suicidal thoughts. , time to kill myself,” said Sanders.
“I ran this car on the side of the highway, and, at the bottom, I thought this car was going to turn, and it didn't. And I was still there. Soon after that, I had to come to the road. Lord, I put my hands up and said, 'I can't do it anymore.'
