Heller, 47, who joined Swift's band in 2007, took to social media on Tuesday, December 10, to reflect on the highs and lows of the entire tour.
Sharing a series of photos of herself and Swift, 34, performing in various locations, Heller captioned the Instagram carousel with a long and moving tribute as she described the “trip of a lifetime.”
Starting with some of the tougher demands of the tour, Heller wrote, “No more early calls. There are no more airports. No more carrying a suitcase and Mono mounted escalators, line by line, without baggage claim. No more warming, no more cooling. No more checking my watch 20 times to make sure I don't miss a call. I will no longer say goodbye to my family, I will no longer say “how many are sleeping now?” No more jet lag.”

Heller's respect then extended to the challenges of traveling to remote parts of the world such as The Eras Tourwhich presents 152 shows on five continents after starting in March 2023, becoming the highest-grossing tour of all time.
“No more sneaking into new languages, cultures, foods, delicacies. There will be no more snow in Tokyo, watch factories in Switzerland, museums in Sweden, bass shops in Australia, steaks in Rio, tattoos in Ireland, running in Germany, flowers in Amsterdam,” he continued. Heller. “It happened.”
The singer then moved on to some of his most memorable moments, including feeling like a “gladiator” while walking on any stage. “No more shouting words with a stranger who is now your best friend. I no longer take it to watch my family/friends share a funny joke, only to be transformed into giant titans, growing and thriving in the blinding light,” he wrote. “I am no longer called to dig as deep as I can, it requires the best I can do.”
Heller compared the final performance of the tour, which took place in Vancouver on Sunday, December 8, to a “graduation” of sorts, before concluding her career with a message directed at Swift.

Your combination of focus, heart, energy and joy brings out the best in everyone around you,” she wrote. “Thank you for trusting me with my part of your vision. It was the trip of a lifetime. I love you.”
Swift confirmed the final The Eras Tour show on June 13, calling the experience, “the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most exciting, most rewarding, most amazing thing that's ever happened in my life,” at the time.
During the announcement, which took place during the 100th show in Liverpool, England, he added that the tour had “been through” before thanking the fans for their support.

He continued, “I want to spend the 100th show thinking about that and living with you in this moment and being here with you.” Just know that I appreciate all the efforts you made to be with us… So, thank you. “
