Jana Kramer's husband 'won't' allow his wife to record sex scenes like those in 'Yellowstone'

Jana Kramer and her husband, Allan Russell, have been open about how comfortable they are with allowing sex scenes to be filmed during their marriage.

On the actor's “Whine Down” podcast, Russell joined his wife and discussed the latest episode of “Yellowstone” the couple watched together.

In one of the final episodes of the hit Western, Wes Bentley and Dawn Olivieri filmed a steamy sex scene, which sparked a conversation between Kramer and Russell.

“No part of me would ever allow that, for a man to be so close to you,” Russell, a former Scottish footballer, told his wife. “Never.”

Kramer immediately asked, “What if Taylor Sheridan auditions me and I write a role where I have to have that scene?”

“There is no part of me that will ever, allow that, for a man to approach you like that. He will not.”

“Then I'll go with Tommy Lee for everyone,” Russell replied. “I'll be calling the producers and threatening the producers, 'You need to change that scene. However, this is for your life, you need to change this scene.'

Kramer pressed her husband further, and tried to clarify whether she could expect him to turn down any role that came his way if a sexual scene was required.

“No. I wouldn't let you do that scene. No. That's not good for a wedding, that role. No. Especially. [as] a man who is not in the world is difficult, so that's my opinion, I'm not in that world.”

“You can keep smiling and laughing if you want. But let's investigate. Let's investigate because we always do,” said Russell.

Russell tried to give Kramer a different perspective and asked him how he would feel about filming a sensitive scene. The “One Tree Hill” actress made it clear that she will be fine with it.

“I dated actors before they had to do sex scenes,” Kramer said. “It's the most awkward thing ever. Like when I gave Fudu a hand job on 'Entourage' it's not comfortable. I actually take my hand and rub her leg. Its movement – not very pleasant – not pleasant.”

Kramer went on to list past times he's filmed intimate scenes with other characters — including Stephen Colletti in “One Tree Hill” and Austin Nichols in “Gaslit By My Husband.”

“I don't care. I don't care. If you lock eyes with another man and you're — you're naked…” Russell began.

“You're never fully naked though,” Kramer chimed in, adding, “You can see everything. I was in my 'Gaslit' basement.”

“You don't have to remind me,” Russell said. “Stop revealing these things.”

The couple, who tied the knot in July, continued to argue on air before Kramer said, “I can't win.”

“No, you won't make it, so don't try,” Russell replied.
