A 'mini tornado' appears over the Brisbane River in Queensland
Queensland residents captured on video what many believe to be a 'mini tornado' blowing across the Brisbane River on 1 November.
It came as a large storm cloud crossed the city in the afternoon bringing heavy rain and hail. Severe weather warnings have been issued for the area.
The strong winds accompanying the storm cloud began to swirl above the Brisbane River at Kangaroo Point, creating a temporary surge of water, which is the name of a cyclone over a large body of water.
