A Texas father allegedly burned down a house with 3 children inside
A Texas father is accused of setting his home on fire with his three children inside, according to police.
Pedro Luis Parra Pulgar, 46, faces three counts of attempted murder. His bond is set at $2.25 million.
The fire was reported Nov. 6 at 31619 Eldorado Lane in the Polo Ranch Community of Fulshear, Texas, police said.

The suspect was seriously injured in the fire and spent a long time in hospital before being released on Thursday. He was then booked into the Fort Bend County Jail.
The house suffered major damage due to the fire, and the first responders rushed to the scene, said the police.

Two of the children managed to escape from the home with minor injuries, but the third, who is three years old, is still trapped inside.
The police heard a noise coming from the floor of the house and entered through the bedroom window and rescued the child.

The child, who was suffering from severe smoke inhalation, was taken to a nearby hospital by helicopter and has been discharged.
