Five years ago, Netflix threw in the towel on the heist The Triple Frontier for its service, and although the film made waves within its first few months of release, it has since faded from the public consciousness. The movie has a standard plot about ex-marines robbing a South American drug lord, but that's not what really makes it interesting.
With actors, including Ben Affleck, Pedro Pascal, Charlie Hunnam, Garret Hedlund, Oscar Isaac, who did The Triple Frontier good time.

Although it is not The Expendablesan amazing collection of modern stars, and it was made clear in the first minutes of the film that they all understood the assignment and nailed the tone of men of questionable character coming together for one last mission. The dialogue alternates from quiet thoughtfulness to rapid fire, but it leaks testosterone or the plot falls apart between them, triggering a chain of events that culminates in a wild car chase through a Peruvian village. Triple Frontier's The status as a really good B-movie is confirmed by critics, with a new rating of 71 percent, while the audience was harsh, with a rating of 58 percent. I can see why the audience score is low; there is a twist, and it takes the back half of the film in a different way. However, I, for one, enjoyed what Chandor did because it defied my expectations, but don't worry; there is still a lot going on in the final third.
Triple Frontier Was A Netflix Hit
While starting in 2019, The Triple Frontier received over 52 million views in its first month on Netflix. That may not seem like much given the post-Covid broadcast boom, but it was enough for the film to be considered a success.
