American voters' Mike Wolfe feeling the love on his 60th birthday.
Wolfe's girlfriend, Leticia Cline, entered Instagram On Wednesday, November 6, to honor her, I posted two photos of the couple in the car with Wolfe in the driver's seat and Cline passenger-side.
“You will forever be my greatest adventure and the home my heart will always seek,” Cline, 46, captioned the post. “If we measured the sunsets, the trips we've taken, the concerts we've seen, the people's lives we've touched, the animals we've helped, the things we've loved, you'd be older than you'd understand.”
He continued, “A life well lived is not measured by age, but rather by how many people measure their lives by yours and you have a good flowing life.” [sic] with it. I'm just glad I got a front row seat to it all. I love you babe. The best birthdays ever.”
Wolfe and Cline began dating in 2021, the same year that Wolfe's ex-wife, Jodi Catherine Wolfefiled for divorce after nine years of marriage, according to People. Jodi's filing cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and noted that the exes separated in 2020 before deciding to make it official. (They share a 12-year-old daughter, Charlie.)
Wolfe is an excellent host American voters on The History Channel since 2010. Earlier this week, he spoke about his late costar and friend Frank FritzOpioid addiction.
“Here's the deal,” Wolfe, 60, said People in an interview published on Monday, November 4. “I have no right to tell his story — only he has. But I feel I have the right to tell a personal story of how I and many people are struggling to figure out what is going on in his life.”
According to Wolfe, he and Fritz were both navigating “a crumbling relationship” during the COVID-19 pandemic, which coincided with Fritz dealing with a back injury and undergoing surgery.
Wolfe called the time off from the pandemic and Fritz's surgery “a perfect storm.” Wolfe added, “He became addicted to opioids, and that's when everything changed.”
The duo's inner circle had an intervention. A month later, Wolfe said Fritz was optimistic about his performance — but despite Fritz's suggestion that things were fine, Wolfe said his struggle was palpable and the network “finally made the decision” to let him go.
Fritz left the series in 2021, and died in September of this year at the age of 60. His representative told TMZ in October that Fritz had died effects of stroke and was in a hospice surrounded by her friends when she died. A day after Fritz's death, Wolfe shared news of the tribute via Instagram.
“I knew Frank for more than half my life and what you saw on TV was always what I saw, a dreamer who was as sensitive as he was funny,” Wolfe wrote. “With the way he used the camera, Frank had a way of reaching the hearts of many by just being himself.”
