in France Arthur Fils has been a juggernaut at the ATP 500 level this year, and has earned the 20-year-old a cheap holiday bonus.
Fils, who won the ATP 500 titles in Hamburg (red clay) and Tokyo (outdoor hard) will take home another $615,000 for finishing atop the 2024 ATP bonus pool.
The tour is worth up to $1,340,000 to the top five players at ATP 500 events to provide an incentive to compete. Italy's Jannik Sinner is currently second, but could be overtaken by Alex de Minaur this weekend.
Second place gets an additional $310,000, third place takes home $205,000, fourth place takes home $130,000 and fifth place nets $80,000.
Daniil Medvedev won the award last year.
The 20th-ranked Fils won his last 13 matches at the ATP 500 level arter defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in Vienna today 7-6(5), 6-3. He will face Ben Shelton in the Erste Bank Open final.
