Bindi Irwin Gets Heartwarming Wildlife 'First' With Daughter Grace & Photos Are Amazing

“A very special day,” Irwin wrote in a new post on Instagram, sharing photos of the zoo's re-release of a sea turtle named Aurora back into the wild. “This beautiful sea turtle was cared for by us at the #AustraliaZooWildlifeHospital for a long time and was finally able to go home. He was so big that we had to do a sea release. He weighs more than 160kgs (360 pounds)!” Irwin explained. And the big turtle has a big part of Grace's heart.

“Grace spent a lot of time feeding him at the Wildlife Hospital charity,” Irwin wrote. He was very happy when he saw Aurora going home and he had a wonderful feeling because he wanted to go to the beach with her. Irwin continued to reflect on Grace's heart in the caption. “I am amazed at Grace's big heart and compassion for all animals,” she wrote. “It made me cry to see how much he loved this big old sea turtle. It was the first time I've seen Grace really connect with the wildlife work we do.”
