Brianna Chickenfry Denies Getting $10 Million for Zach Bryan Podcast
Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia you set the record straight.
The broadcaster has dismissed the Barstool Sports boss' claims Dave Portnoy he paid her $10 million to talk about her breakup with him Zach Bryan on last week's “BFF” podcast. During the episode, LaPaglia, 25, lashed out at the country singer, including accusing her of emotional abuse. He also claimed that Bryan offered him $12 million to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
“I see a lot of people saying, 'Well, Dave just gave him ten million [dollars] to do everything, so he took the money.' Dave didn't give me money,” the “BFFs” producer said in a Saturday, November 9, TikTok video.
He continued, “Telling you everything? Do you think that was telling it all? I took the high road. What I did was stop the scene, I painted a picture … if you don't see that very clear picture, I don't have time to take you by the hand and take you to LensCrafters.”
In fact, LaPaglia said that following her October split from Bryan, 28, and moving out of the Massachusetts home they shared, she was in a bad mood.
“I am losing money right now. I pay for storage. I pay the movers. I'm paying for the f—ing flights back to New York to try and find a place to stay,” the broadcaster explained.
Bryan confirmed last month that he and LaPaglia had ended their year-long relationship.
“Brianna and I are separated and I respect and love her with all my heart. He loved me unconditionally for so long and for that, I will always be grateful,” Bryan wrote in an Instagram Story statement in October. “I've had a very difficult year personally and faced very difficult things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our separate ways. I am not perfect and I will never be perfect.”
At the time, LaPaglia said that Bryan's decision to go public with their breakup “blindsided” her.
On the Thursday, November 7, episode of the “BFFs” podcast — which she co-hosts with Portnoy and Josh Richards — LaPaglia alleged that Bryan emotionally abused her during their relationship.
“The last year of my life has been the most difficult year of my life, I am facing abuse from this boy,” she said. “I'm still scared, my mind has been rewired. I'm afraid to mix him up. Last week I didn't want to talk about it because I was scared.”
“I still say f— your money,” he added, referring to the alleged NDA. “You made women before me believe that they had no other choice. And to take away your money, sign their experience, sign what they've been through, you're going to get over it and sing your f-ing little songs on stage like you're a good person.”
Us Weekly reached out to Bryan's representatives for comment on LaPaglia's claims last week but did not immediately hear back.
