Brianna Chickenfry Takes A Break From The BFFs Podcast Amid Zach Bryan Split
Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia he puts his mental health first.
The “BFFs” podcast host announced on Wednesday, October 30, that he is taking a break from the Barstool Sports podcast he co-hosts. Dave Portnoy again Josh Richards following his breakup with the country singer Zach Bryan.
“Hey guys! We tried to record this week but I'm having trouble figuring out how I want to do this in public because of all the controversy,” LaPaglia, 25, shared in a message posted on the podcast's TikTok account.
The message continued, “I will put my mental health first this week. Josh and Dave wanted to make sure I was doing what was right for me. I need to prioritize the right things this week. I hope you all can understand.”
Bryan, 28, announced his split from LaPaglia after a year of dating on Oct. 22, although LaPaglia admitted that he doesn't feel comfortable with the split.
“Something to talk about: Brianna and I have separated [SIC] and I respect and love him with all my heart,” said the singer in a statement on Instagram Story. “He has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I will always be grateful.”
He continued: “I've had a very difficult year personally and I've struggled through very difficult things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our separate ways. I am not perfect and I will never be perfect.”
LaPaglia responded via his Instagram Story by revealing that he didn't see Bryan's public post coming.
“Hey guys, I feel like my eyes are closed now. I'm going to leave social media for a while and try to make a living in private, when I'm ready I'll be back and ready to talk,” he wrote. “I love you guys so much and thank you for all your kind words. Remember that you are loved and everything will always be okay.”
LaPaglia shared her emotional trauma in a YouTube video posted recently.
“How can you give someone all your grams and then get dumped in a few days,” LaPaglia said. “It's really painful, and I don't want to talk about the details right now.”
LaPaglia's “BFFs” producer Portnoy slammed Bryan during an appearance on “The Unnamed Show” podcast on Thursday, October 24, calling the singer an “insecure kid.”
Portnoy also said it was “crazy” that Bryan signed up for Raya's dating app during the breakup.
“That's dirty business,” Portnoy said, adding: “She was on a dating app before the body got cold!”
