Britney Spears Calls Son Jayden 'A Miracle and a Genius' During Reunion

Spears, 43, took to Instagram on Monday, December 30, to praise son Jayden, 18, days after we spent Christmas together for the first time in years.
“Mine forever!!!” he wrote alongside two photos of Jayden standing in nature and sporting baggy jeans and an oversized maroon shirt.
The pop legend continued: “It's weird that we look like twins but he's a boy and I'm a girl!!! He is mine, I haven't seen him in 2 and half years or maybe 3!!! I'm shocked!!! He is back and he feels older and wiser than me!!! He is a man and I cry every day of my life because of his wonder and wisdom!!! When he plays the whole world shakes!!!”

Earlier, Spears announced their holiday reunion via Instagram on December 25, video sharing her with Jayden where she called him “my baby” before kissing him on the cheek.
“Best Christmas of my life!!! I haven't seen my boys in 2 years!!!” wrote a caption for the post. “Tears of joy and shock every day koo-koo crazy in love and be blessed!!!”
Spears said at the time she was left “speechless” by seeing Jayden. The singer shares a teenager and son Preston, 19, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
After her divorce from Federline, 46, in 2007, Britney was under the conservatory supervised by her father, Jamie Spearsa big part of his children's lives. The Conservatory ended in late 2021 after 13 years, and Britney still has it difficult relationship and his sons.

“I think my mom struggled to give us equal attention and love and I don't think she showed Preston enough and I feel bad about that,” Jayden told the newspaper. Daily Mail in 2022. “Both of us have been through so much stress in the past that this is our safe place now, to process all the emotional trauma we've gone through to heal, to heal our mental state. If I complained, he would follow me [my brother]. I feel guilty, so I am there for him. My mother treated me better.”
Britney responded to Jayden's comments at the time, writing on Instagram, “To my son Jayden I send you all the love in the world every day for the rest of my life.
He added: “My love for my children knows no bounds and it makes me very sad to know his complaint that I did not live up to his expectations of a mother …. and maybe one day we can meet face to face and talk about this openly!”
Jayden and Preston later moved to Hawaii and his father and his wife, Victoria Princeand siblings in 2023. Jayden is back in California.

“Jayden is spending time in California but not with Britney,” the source said you are only told Us Weekly in November. “All his friends are in California and he wanted to come back after high school. Jayden reached out to Britney and started a conversation.”
The insider noted that Jayden “open to mending relationships” and his mother.
“It will take time and it will not be a quick reconciliation. They have seen each other twice [it] be very short,” continued the source. “Britney was very happy to hear from him. She hopes they can continue to spend time together and hopes Preston will come too. He still has a hole in his heart for not seeing his boys. Jayden reaching out means everything to him.”
