Caitlin Clark is sitting with Taylor Swift at the Chiefs game after previous invitations
Caitlin Clark has finally taken Taylor Swift up on an offer to watch a Kansas City Chiefs game together.
Clark was seen in the same place as Swift at Arrowhead Stadium during the playoff game between the Chiefs and the Houston Texans on Saturday.
This is the first time Clark and Swift have appeared on the show together, after Clark said he was invited by Swift to join earlier this season.
Clark, a lifelong Chiefs fan, said in his interview with Time Magazine Athlete of The Year that Swift and Travis Kelce extended an invitation to Clark when he went to see Swift's Eras Tour concert at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis in early November.
Clark said himself see Swift's Three Eras Tour concerts, including two straight nights when Swift is in Indianapolis in November. While there, Clark said fans threw so many friendship bracelets at him that when he put them on, his blood circulation stopped.

“I had a ton, up to my arm. I had to get rid of them. My circulation was going to stop,” Clark said at the Women's Leadership Conference in November. “Everyone was just waving their bracelets at me.”
At that conference, Clark also revealed that Swift is his favorite musician.
Kelce said in an episode of his podcast, “New Heights,” that he met Clark at one of those concerts. He later invited Clark on the podcast himself for a more extensive conversation.
Clark was also recently photographed next to Swift on the cover of Inspiring Women's latest special issue at the end of October. Clark and Swift were the only two people in the top row, and Clark was the most ranked athlete over sports legends Serena Williams and Megan Rapinoe.

The resurgence of Clark's previous social media posts while in college also drew fans of his closest figures.
“Taylor Swift is welcome to the positive side,” Clark wrote on September 24, 2023, in his post. send to X after Swift went public with her relationship with Kelce in September 2023.
The surge of interest in Clark's Swift fanbase happened after a controversial podcast episode hosted by Clark's. arch rival Angel Reese in October.
Reese, who played emotional, high-profile games against Clark's dating back in college and made off-court comments about Clark's fans, treated Kelce's ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole, a promotional model, media personality, to the air. entertainment reporter on Instagram.
During her appearance, Nicole said she's gotten a lot of hate for the relationship since Kelce started dating Swift instead of her.
That conversation sparked a lot of controversy on social media, with some defending Nicole and sympathizing with her for the alleged hate she received. However, others, including many self-identified Swift fans, criticized Nicole and Reese for the interview.

Many of those Swift fans called themselves Clark fans in response to Reese's interview. Clark and Reese have one of the hottest rivalries in women's sports right now, as their respective fans have been passionately feuding for over a year.
Clark has also been linked to Swift's political beliefs.
Earlier in Clark's rookie season, she liked Swift's Instagram post announcing her engagement to singer Kamala Harris on September 10.

However, Clark did not endorse the candidate when asked about Swift's endorsement of Harris. Clark instead responded with a message about the importance of telling people to vote.
“I think, personally, I have an amazing platform,” he told reporters at the Indiana Fever team's press conference on September 11. “So, I think the biggest thing would be to encourage people to register to vote. I think it's the second time I've voted in an election that's the biggest thing I can do with the platform I have – the same thing with Taylor .
“And I think, continue to educate yourself about the candidates we have, the policies they support. I think that's the biggest thing you can do. And that's what I would recommend to everyone who has an opportunity in our country. .”
