California man allegedly stabbed multiple people; He was arrested and released last week
A California man was arrested Saturday morning after allegedly stabbing two people and assaulting two others.
Efrain Troncoso, 22, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery and attempted carjacking, according to Ventura police.
The first incident occurred just after 7:00 a.m. near Ash Street and Thompson Boulevard, where the victim reported being stabbed in the back by a man riding a bicycle.

While police were looking for the man, a woman called 911 to report that a man had stabbed her in the neck while she was walking on Chestnut Street.
A few minutes later, another man reported that the suspect hit him on the head with a metal pipe and robbed him.
While police were searching for the suspect in the area, another victim called 911 and said a man had robbed her at knifepoint, including taking her car keys.

All four attacks happened less than 30 minutes apart and within five blocks of each other.
The police found Troncoso in the car he had broken into when he tried to stop the car with the stolen keys, and he was taken into custody.

Troncoso has been arrested multiple times in Moorpark, including as recently as last week on suspicion of vandalism and resisting arrest, and was released on Nov. 12, according to police. He has been arrested before for being under the influence of drugs.
