Can Europe change the course of Israel's war in Gaza? | The Israeli-Palestinian conflict

A Dutch think tank says European countries must do more to prevent a major conflict.

European countries have come under pressure to become more involved in the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Almost all EU countries have shown unequivocal support for Israel following the attacks led by Hamas on October 7.

But as the relentless attacks on Gaza continue, many have begun to defect, some even going so far as to impose an arms embargo on Israel.

The Dutch government has been criticized internally for not doing enough to respond to the conflict and has been urged to join other European countries to help stop the escalation of the conflict.

How can that idea become a reality?
