Carville criticizes 'nonsensical' pundits for focusing on polling, policy rather than Trump's rhetoric.
Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville criticized a “caucus of truth tellers” in the media who “must be fair” instead of criticizing former President Trump's speech.
Trump's comments this week attacking Republican Liz Cheney for being a “big war hawk” sparked controversy, with many critics branding it a call to violence, while others pointed to the full context as liberating.
Carville, who recently announced that he doesn't care about being “fair” in this election, said, “The worst and youngest people in this are what I call the 'truther' caucus.' tell the whole truth and you see these wipes everywhere, you see them in newsrooms, you see columns, you see them on cable TV, and you see them on the news.
He linked pollsters with Trump who allegedly wants to arrest his political opponents and criticized the media for doing “like these two equals —.”
CARVILLE WARNS JOURNALISTS WILL BE CLOSED IF TRUMP WINS ELECTION: 'HE WILL RULE THEM ALL'
Carville went on to debunk the false narrative that Trump wants to stop a firing squad from Cheney.
“And you have centrists, people who have to take a centrist approach,” and try to come together. “Let's say Trump wants a 9-man firing squad to kill Liz Cheney,” Carville said, before teasing centrist commentators by suggesting they would be asking, “Is the centrist position a 4-man firing squad or a 5-man firing squad?”
“These people are f—ing idiots,” Carville said, adding that they are “victims of the irrational tunnel vision of who they are and their exaggerated sense of justice. It's hard to do this whole thing.”
Carville said that if the country is “done away with,” it will be the fault of these professional “truthers,” you know, the kind of people who are supposed to be fair to me.
LIBERAL MEDIA FREAKS TRUMP'S 'FIRST DAY' AT MCDONALD'S
Carville then concluded that there is no similarity in behavior between the main political parties fighting in this election and asked the media to report it.
“I hope that the people who are supposed to tell us what's going on in this country develop the guts, the background, the knowledge of history, the history of knowing that everything is not equal — it's equal in this country and everybody's opinion. It's not equal f—! Said Carville. “Some people have opinions. better, more informed, fairer, more humane than other people and why don't you come out and report that?!”
