'Catwoman' Jocelyn Wildenstein Films Reality Show Before Dying: Report

Jocelyn WildensteinThe socialite known as “Catwoman,” filmed a reality television show before her death, TMZ reports.

Wildenstein died on Tuesday, December 31, in Paris at the age of 84, his partner, Lloyd Kleinhe said.

On Wednesday, January 1, after the news of his death appeared, TMZ reported that Wildenstein filmed a reality project last year, citing production sources, although they noted that the show has not yet reached a deal with the network.

According to the source, the show focused on Wildenstein moving from his home in Miami to Los Angeles and Klein's efforts to relaunch his fashion brand, Lloyd Klein Couture. The show is said to be different from the HBO docs Wildenstein first mentioned in a June 2023 interview with UK's. Sunday Times.

On Wednesday, Klein told AFP that the Swiss woman died in Paris while staying at a luxury hotel after suffering a pulmonary embolism. A pulmonary embolism is a blood clot that “blocks and stops blood flow” in an artery in the lung, according to the Mayo Clinic.

“The icon is gone,” Klein told the outlet, noting that he is “grieving” over the loss of Wildenstein.

Before her death, Wildenstein (born Jocelyne Périsset) made headlines for her extreme plastic surgery that made her look like an ox. The work led to her being nicknamed “Catwoman.”

After his first surgery in the late 1970s, fans began to compare Wildenstein's eye lift to that of a lynx, which he had as a pet.

Wildenstein was also known for her marriage to a billionaire art dealer Alec Wildenstein. The two married in 1978 and divorced in 1999.

Alec said Vanity Fair at the time of their separation he had no word on how much surgery his wife had undergone, despite reports that he encouraged her to change her appearance.

“He was crazy. I was going to find out eventually,” he said, according to him The Times. “He thought he could fix his face like a piece of furniture. Skin doesn't work that way. But he didn't listen.”

Jocelyn said The Times in June 2023 that Alec “hired a publicist and paid a plastic surgeon to make sure I completely changed my face” to “win the divorce.”

Wildenstein is survived by his children and Alec's children, son Alec Jr. and daughter Diane.
