Diddy's New Case Involves Horrific Allegations of a Ten-Year-Old Boy
By Chris Snellgrove | Published
It seems like disgraced singer Diddy is dealing with new allegations every day, each darker than the last. The most recent allegations, reported by Variety, for example, are arguably the most horrific in their clarity and filth. The lawsuit, filed earlier this week, says Diddy drugged and raped a 10-year-old boy in 2005.
This case is organized by the lawyer Tony Buzbee, who announced at the beginning of October his intention to file 120 cases against the singer in the next few months. On Monday, he filed a lawsuit in New York State Supreme Court on behalf of an unnamed John Doe who lives in California. The man who accuses Diddy says he was a 10-year-old boy who wanted to become a rapper when he was raped by the singer in 2005.
Horrible Allegations
This latest lawsuit against Diddy paints an even worse picture of his alleged behavior towards the boy. The lawsuit says the boy's parents wanted to help him fulfill his musical ambitions and hired someone to help him. That consultant recommended that the boy fly from his home in Los Angeles to New York City, where he could meet powerful industry figures.
According to the lawsuit, Diddy is one of those people in the industry and the boy was supposed to meet him to be tested. It is said that the singer wanted to meet this boy alone, the child was brought to the star's hotel where he will test some of his songs. The lawsuit alleges that at this point, Diddy said he could make the boy a star and asked him what he would do to make that dream come true, to which he replied “he'll do anything.”
Drugs Were Involved
The lawsuit alleges that one of Diddy's associates gave the boy a drink that made him feel “a little funny,” an effect allegedly caused by drugs, “including but not limited to GHB and/or ecstasy” in the drink. After that, the singer is said to have said the words “you have to do something you don't want to do sometimes” before taking out his stick and asking the boy to kiss it. When she refused, the suit says Diddy forced the boy to perform oral sex on her and she died shortly after.
When the boy awoke, the lawsuit says, “his pants were loose, his ankles and buttocks were very painful.” He complained that he wanted to see his parents, after which Diddy threatened to hurt the boy's parents if he said anything to them. As for John Doe, the lawsuit says he subsequently suffered “extreme depression and anxiety, leaving him hopeless and exhausted.”
Diddy's Lawyers Fire Back
In response, Diddy's attorneys released a statement saying the attorney who filed the lawsuit “preferences media attention over the truth, as is evident from his frequent media appearances and 1-800 number.” Representatives clarified that their client cannot “personally respond to all new allegations, even to respond to ridiculous or patently false claims.” Their response ends with a strong statement that Diddy has “never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—male or female, old or young.”
Regardless of how this latest case plays out, it's clear that Diddy has a very long road ahead of him. And his scandals continue to affect the lives of other celebrities from Kevin Hart to ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez. The music star was hoping to win in court, but judging by the number of current and future suits, he will have to win many times if he hopes to successfully clear his name.
