Donna Kelce shows his support for both sons of the NFL, Jason Kelce again Travis Kelcefor cameo roles in Hallmark holiday movies.
Although it has been widely reported that Donna, 71, has a bit part in the highly anticipated network. Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Storyin fact she made her acting debut in another holiday rom-com one week earlier.
Christmas on the phone premiered Friday, November 22, following a pair of Philadelphia-based first responders working through the holiday season. Movie stars Sarah Canning like ER doctor Hannah Michaels and Ser'Darius Blain like paramedic Wes Sullivan.
As Philly local Wes shows newborn Hannah the sights of the Christmas season, they stop at a cheesesteak restaurant “near [his] heart.”
“Hey Wes, how are you?” Donna, wearing Jason's number 62 Philadelphia Eagles jersey and color-coordinated friendship bracelets, said as Wes and Hannah walked up to the counter to place their order.
Wes replies, “Hi, Donna, looks like you're busy around here.”
He replies, “All day, every day! You know, Christmas.”
Donna placed Wes and Hannah's orders — including “whiz with,” naturally — before saying, “Go Birds!” (Jason, 37, played center for the Eagles for 13 years, retiring in March.)
After a while, Donna left her perch at the counter to check on Wes and Hannah's food and bring orders of fries “on the house.”
“Anyone who can make Wes look happy deserves a treat,” Donna added. “Have fun, kids – but not too much fun.”
Donna will return to the network for a November 30 premiere Holiday Toucha collaboration between Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs. Although Travis, 35, plays an important role in Chiefs, the film is not about Travis' relationship with pop star Taylor Swift.
In Holiday Touchdown, and plays classic Hallmark songs Tyler Hynes again Hunter King, Donna plays another restaurant employee with the same name. Instead of throwing cheesesteaks, he'll be serving up KC's famous barbecue.
Donna has previously been coy about joining Hallmark's ranks in holiday-worthy movies.
“It's not a big deal,” he told Vulture in September of his “little toys” in both Holiday Touch again Christmas on the phone. “It was something they thought they would throw into the movie. So, it's fun. One is about Philly and the other is about the Chiefs. So it made sense.”
Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story premieres Saturday, November 30, at 8 pm ET and will be available to stream on Peacock and Hallmark+. Christmas on the phone is also currently available for streaming on Peacock and Hallmark+.
