DWTS' Anna Delvey Plays Joke Wants Her Final Comeback Until 'It's Over'
What's going on Anna Delvey missed being there Dancing with the Stars? Nothing.
Delvey, 33, returned for the season 33 finale on Tuesday, November 26, where she danced to “I Want Nothing” with the experts. Ezra Sosa. A convicted felon made fun of himself by uttering the words “nothing.” (Delvey made headlines when he was sacked in September after the hosts Julianne Hough asked him what he would do with his time on the show and he replied, “nothing.”)
After reuniting with Sosa, 24, on the dance floor, Delvey was asked by another expert Emma Slater about his performance. Delvey again called it “nothing” before laughing that he was “glad it's over.” Sosa continued to commit to this by asking Delvey if he would miss spending time with him.
“I will miss you. [It was] nice to meet you,” Delvey said on TikTok Live to the official DWTS on social media before voting on who should win. “I think it would be funny if nobody wins.”
Delvey's existence is open Dancing with the Stars has been the talk of the town since he joined the show in season 33. Before becoming a contestant, Delvey was arrested in 2018 and served time in prison for his conviction the following year. He served two years after being convicted of fraud, burglary and theft of utilities. After posting $10,000 bail, Delvey was released from prison in 2022 and placed under house arrest.
DWTS he used to show off Delvey's ankle before he was pulled two weeks into the tournament.
“I thought, I said, 'Well, they could build.' It's like, 'Well, only if you smile more, only if you do X, Y, Z, it's going to be so much better,'” she said. Tori SpellingThat month's “misspelling” podcast. “It was like they were putting a lot of effort into trying to get me into the program and make me comfortable, just to get this over with early. I see it, of course, as a shameful attempt to have us removed from the front Eric [Roberts] or Reginald [VelJohnson] in a dance competition. Although in the end it's not that big of a deal.”
Delvey called her elimination “a little bit upsetting,” adding, “It was a waste of time for me to do all this so they could just dump me.” I know that the show was very happy to have me, but most of the viewers are not people who usually interest me.”
Reflecting on his journey, Delvey said he is proud of how far he has come in such a short time DWTS.
“I don't think I did a very bad job on the show,” he continued. “We were kicked out and the people who were under us, I think they should stay on the show and make it more intense in a show called Dancing With the Stars, not Star Gossip or Making Friends with the Stars. “
