Elena Rybakina To Work With Stefano Vukov Again

Elena Rybakina added the former coach Stefano Vukov on his coaching staff — again.
The 2022 Wimbledon champion announced the news on his Instagram. Rybakina, who ended a five-year partnership with Vukov last August, had recently hired Goran Ivanisevic as her coach before the end of the 2024 season.

It is reported that Vukov will work as an assistant alongside Ivanisevic.

Rybakina and Vukov had incredible success together but not without turmoil. Vukov was criticized at times for his temper and the way he sometimes treated Rybakina during matches and practices. Hall of Famer Pam Shriver speculated that the two's relationship was not good, but Rybakina denied those claims with an honest defense of her coach.

Shriver called the news a “sad situation” when it was announced at X earlier Thursday
Rybakina started immediately in 2024. He led Kazakhstan to the semi finals of the United Cup by winning all four of their matches.
