Elizabeth Hurley Recalls Hugh Grant's Response to the Deputy Chief of Security

It wasn't that Hurley's day seemed to be worrying. Just look back (lots of red carpet photos), and you'll see a gray-haired Grant smiling wryly next to him, unable to believe his luck. (The couple dated from 1987 to 2000, and since their split, they've remained close; the actor is also godfather to Hurley's son, Damian, 22, with whom he shares. Steve Bing.)

What is commendable for Grant is that he was the one who called “favor” after a number of fashion companies rejected his request to lend him a dress to play in for the first time because they did not know who he was.
