ESPN broadcasters face accusations of Colorado bias as Buffaloes get blown out of bowl game
The BYU Cougars picked up a big season-ending win over the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday night, holding off a great performance by Shedeur Sanders and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.
The Cougars beat the Buffaloes in the Alamo Bowl, 36-14. BYU running back LJ Martin had two touchdowns to go with 93 rushing yards, and Sione I Moa added another score on the ground to help BYU to the win.

College football fans tuning in to ESPN's broadcast of the game were outraged by the spotlight on Colorado, and took to social media to voice their concerns.
BYU broadcaster Connor Pay even told broadcasters to talk more about the team, according to broadcaster Dave Pasch.
“He went up there (production meeting) yesterday and he said to us, 'Talk about BYU for a little bit, what would you say?' Well, we're talking about Connor Pay, and we're talking about BYU now,” Pasch said in the fourth quarter with the Cougars up 33-7, via Awful Announcing. “I'm sure Provo fans would like us to talk about BYU all night.”
Pasch's broadcast partner Dusty Dvoracek added that BYU “gave us a lot to talk about.”
Khokhi was among those who stood up for this call.
SHEDEUR SANDERS GET WOMEN'S RECOGNITION AHEAD OF FINAL COLLEGE GAME AS G-MEN'S NO. 1 CHOOSE
Ideally, Sanders and Hunter from Colorado are slated to be first-round picks in the upcoming draft. Not to mention, Deion Sanders is Colorado's head coach and has rebuilt the program into one of the most impressive in the nation.
Sanders said it is “hard” to know that some of the players he has coached for the past two or three years will leave his team for the next part of their journey.
BYU finished the season 11-2, producing its third 10-win season in the last five years. They haven't gone on a run like this since the mid-2000s when they won at least ten games from 2006 to 2009 and again in 2011.
Kalani Sitake led the team from a meager five wins in their first season in the Big 12 Conference last year to 11 wins and a bowl game.
