Former NFL star Antonio Brown launches fundraiser for families of New Orleans terror attack victims
Former NFL star Antonio Brown has launched a fund for the victims and their families of the New Orleans terrorist attack that took place on New Year's Day morning.
More than ten people died and others were injured when the suspect identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar drove a truck into a crowd of people on Bourbon Street. He was killed in a shootout with police after a shootout and is believed to have been inspired by ISIS.

Brown launched a GoFundMe on Thursday with more than $3,500 raised in the first few hours.
“This has nothing to do with me and everything to do with helping families who have lost loved ones in New Orleans,” the fundraiser caption read. “I will work with Gofundme to ensure that any dollar raised is divided among the 15 families who lost their loved ones on January 1. Prayers.”
Brown isn't the only NFL figure to help victims.

New Orleans Saints defensive end Cam Jordan donated $25,000 to a fund established by the Greater New Orleans Foundation and the city of New Orleans.
“I'm joining the @GNOFoundation and @CityOfNOLA in donating $25,000 to the New Year's Day Disaster Fund to support the victims of the attack,” Jordan wrote on X. they are seriously injured.”

The attack forced the postponement of the Sugar Bowl, which was scheduled to take place at the Caesars Superdome at 4 pm ET.
