General Hospital coming and going is reassuring Chad Duell he leaves the show as a legacy character Michael Corinthos – but will he die or just disappear?

General Hospital Comings & Goings: Chad Duell Out as Michael Corinthos
General Hospital Come and Go is surprised to report that Chad Duell will soon be leaving the soap after 14 years of playing Michael Corinthos. Recently, Chad announced on social media that after many amazing years GH, he has decided to withdraw from this game.
He went on to say that it was not an easy decision but it felt like the right time in his life. Chad loves the cast like they are family and is very grateful to his fans. He also said that this is not goodbye, just see you. So, hopefully, you will come back one day soon.
Until now, General Hospital showrunner Frank Valentini says there are no plans to reprise the character. But, you can't. She is sad to see Chad go but wishes him all the best. His final scenes will be in early 2025 – possibly the February Sweeps.
Indeed, his character will need to be cleared. But the big question is – how will you get out? Will you die a tragic death like Sam McCall? Or, maybe he just leaves town because his life is too hectic.
Michael Dies on GH?
Undoubtedly, Michael is up to his neck in the game at the moment. Now he knows that his uncle, Drew Cain Quartermaine, slept with his wife, Willow Tait. Therefore, he made it his mission to destroy Drew on General Hospital.
Meanwhile, he jumped in the sack with his ex-girlfriend, Sasha Gilmore, and now, she thinks she's pregnant. If that's the case, when he tells Michael, they can both go to town.
He certainly doesn't have much to keep him in town. On the other hand, she might suggest to Willow that they take the kids and move to get away from Drew and start over.
Of course, if General Hospital wants to make a big explosion, Michael can “die” in the crowd incident. Or, maybe, he'll go out and save his sister, Kristina Corinthos Davis. Right now, he's desperate for revenge on Ava Jerome.
Therefore, he can make a reckless move that causes Michael to intervene and get killed in the process. Really, it will be interesting to see how Chad's exit goes and what's next for Michael, Willow, Drew, and Sasha.
GH Casting Updates: Kai Taylor on Contract
While Chad Duell says goodbye to the character of Michael Corinthos, a newcomer enters. New character Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) is officially under contract. So, he will be around for the foreseeable future.
Kai is a linebacker for the PCU football team and the new love interest of Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). However, Trina is currently getting close to someone new – Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).
Now, they may be on their way to becoming friends General Hospital. However, there may be a love triangle in store for Trina. If so, it will be interesting to see who you choose.
General Hospital Broadcasting News: Lucky to Live in the City
GH broadcast the news and report that Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) chooses to stay in Port Charles instead of going back to Africa. The deciding factor was the love of his life – Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).
Right now, Elizabeth is in trouble and needs Lucky's help. Recently, it was revealed that the cause of death of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was an overdose of Digitalis. Elizabeth is a senior nurse General Hospital and signed all the medications given to Sam.
So, he is being investigated. Of course, none of the nurses gave Sam Digitalis. It has been confirmed that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is the one who killed her by injecting the drug into her IV bag. So, Lucky will help Elizabeth prove her innocence.
Also, they will get more help from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Together, the three will prove Liz wrong. And hopefully, it will expose Cyrus Renault as the real culprit.
