“Marriage 1/3/25. ❤️💍♾️,” Burton, 54, wrote on Instagram on Saturday, January 4, alongside a slideshow of sweet engagement photos of the couple. One captured the moment Burton got down on one knee and popped the question.
Burton's text continued, “Jeremiah 29:11. 'For I know the plans I have for you,' says Jehovah, 'plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'”
Well-wishers poured into the comments section to congratulate the happy couple, including Burton's General Hospital costars.

Burton was previously married to her Sheree Gustin from 1999 to 2022, three children live with him: daughters Makena and Brooklyn and son Jack.
Burton's last marriage hit the headlines in May 2022 when it emerged that she and Gustin, 46, had split after 23 years of marriage, and that she was expecting a child with another man. (The two were legally separated in March of that year.)
“I wanted to fix something. Sheree and I have broken up. She recently announced that she is expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine,” she said General Hospital the star wrote online at the time. “We are still raising our three beautiful children. We can enjoy privacy at this time. Thank you very much, Steve. “

Gustin went on to welcome his fourth child, daughter Isabella, in February 2023 and the identity of the father has been kept a secret. (She gave birth to child number 5, daughter Addy, in February 2024.)
As for Burton, the soap opera star confirmed her relationship with Lundstrom in Daily Drama in May 2024, but it wasn't until the following months that the pair first appeared on the red carpet at the Daytime Emmy Awards last June.
“Our first red carpet together. It was a nightmare from start to finish,” Lundstrom wrote on Instagram in June, while spending the night with his partner. “Thank you for all the nice, kind comments and messages. Thank you so much ❤️🙏🏼.”
Meanwhile, Burton's General Hospital the costar Kirsten Storms she wrote in the comments, “You're so cute together, this picture is almost hard to look at. 🥰 ❤️.”
